Surprise Proposal in Swiss Alps

"Sayuri is the best!! She really went above and beyond for us. Not only did she take amazing photos of my proposal, but she also brought a drone and took some drone videos, she was very flexible and helpful when I had to change my proposal date last minute due to bad weather, and she even set up part of my proposal for me to help me keep the surprise from my fiancé. She’s an excellent communicator and was frequently checking in to see if I needed anything. She also edited the photos so quickly, and we got them back within a week. She had excellent energy and made the experience feel even more exciting. Best photographer ever!"  

Ryan and Beatrice were truly the sweetest couple, and I cannot deny tearing up behind the lens when after months of secret planning and excitement he finally got down on one knee. Against the backdrop of one of the most spectacular views in the world, overlooking the shimmering alpine peaks, he whispered those life-changing words: "Will you marry me?"

This moment was not just a spontaneous gesture. It was the grand finale of an incredible week-long scavenger hunt that Ryan had meticulously planned across the heart of Switzerland. The sheer dedication and thoughtfulness he poured into every clue was honestly so heartwarming to witness. We even coordinated a secret handoff to exchange the final puzzle piece in Lugano a few days before the proposal. 

As a photographer, my goal is to capture not just the "yes" but the quiet tension and joy that leads up to it. Being part of this carefully crafted finale in such a breathtaking Swiss setting was an absolute honor. From the misty morning light to the raw emotion on Beatrice’s face, every frame tells a story of a journey that began long before they reached this viewpoint.

So here they are! I think we can all see how absolutely in love these two are. I am so incredibly happy to have been a part of this milestone day for them, capturing memories that will travel back home with them and last a lifetime.
