Meet Sayuri

Born in Switzerland and raised in Florida, I spent 20 years surrounded by sunshine and palm trees before finding my way back to Europe. Now, nearly a decade into calling Italy home, I capture love stories in Le Marche - a region of stunning landscapes, seaside villages, and timeless charm. As a destination wedding photographer, I focus on the unfiltered, candid moments that make your day uniquely yours. I can't say enough good things about my experience having Sayuri photograph our wedding. From the start of our planning she was quick and communicative. I shared my vision for the day with her and she seriously overdelivered on everything. I can't imagine our wedding day without Sayuri. She was very professional and focused, but she never made us feel rushed or panicked about timing. She brought such great energy to our day. We genuinely had fun and felt comfortable with her. Multiple members of our wedding party and wedding guests commented on how wonderful she was to have around during the day. And the PHOTOS!!!!

Content creator is a job all on its own, but when I can, if there’s time, I do like to take little video clips of the day for my couples since I know they’re in the moment but also would like to have that little memory in movement to relive on their phones.

I do not include the random 400 seconds of me running, even though the audio sometimes is quite entertaining 😎

Ryan reached out and said it was Beatrice’s dream to go to Switzerland so he organized a surprise trip, coupled with a scavenger hunt that then ended in one of the most beautiful places in the Swiss Alps and him down on one knee

People always ask where my name comes from, especially since it’s Japanese and never has anyone in my family or myself been to Japan.

The origin of why and which one of my parents decided to bless me with this beautiful, yet hardly related to our story, name is hazy, but it’s always a conversation starter so there’s that. Maybe they knew that I would grow up to be a talker 🤣

As far as the pronunciation, I’m pretty sure I myself say it wrong, so I really accept any and all versions.
For context I say it SIGH you re
But I think it’s supposed to be sa YOU ri

But you can say Say, Sigh, Sa, Dude and my head will turn.

What a trip!
I took the ferry from Ancona to Split last week and had an amazing time exploring Croatia for the first time.

Who says the bride has to wear white?

I had a photo of this open air abbey on my moodboard two years ago… so when @serenamorandiphotography asked if I would second shoot for her I was 🫠🥹

San Galgano is a 13th-century Cistercian abbey with no roof, just open sky, creating the dreamiest backdrop for couples who want something a little dramatic, a little wild, and still romantic. Tucked into the hills of Tuscany, not far from Siena, it’s one of those places that just stays with you.

Why do an engagement session?
The most common thing I hear when chatting with couples is “we are so awkward in front of the camera.”

Trust me, I totally understand, because I AM TOO. The second I see a lens pointed at me I immediately want to either laugh or hide.

So, to make it so that on your big day, you already feel relaxed and comfortable from the start, I recommend (if possible) to do a pre wedding shoot.

It can be months before, it can be a few days before, but it gives us a chance to get comfortable around each other and for you to get used to the camera and see how I work without and stress or timelines to follow.

And they usually end with a cheeky aperitivo so that’s always a bonus 🤗
